Miss Janice Bird Eden

FISTD Modern & Tap Examiner BFMD

 Janice is a highly respected Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing Examiner working all over the country.  She is a Professional Performer, Teacher, Producer and Choreographer and has worked within the entertainment industry for over 40 years. As a Senior Teacher at some of the most recognised theatre arts training institutions in the country she has taught, mentored and produced many well known celebrities and is an inspiration to students being totally dedicated to their needs and developing them into professional performers.

   As well a being the Senior Co-ordinator at HJA Performing Arts College she continues to examine for the ISTD nationally together with and adjudicating for the British Federation of Music and Dance. She is also an examiner for the American Tap Dance Foundation (ATDF) and member of the International Tap Association (ITA). She has Produced and Directed for many major theatre companies including E&B Productions who are responsible for the majority of Pantomimes and Summer Shows produced nationally today. 

Janice is the Senior Co-ordinator of our ISTD DDI and DDE teaching course which she develops with our professional team of teachers and tutors.

 

Miss Sinead Hinchion

AISTD Modern and Tap

Sinead has been teaching and choreographing for many years and is a very experienced professional.  Recently she has been working in Chicago and New York USA, teaching Street Jazz and Hip-hop and has also worked on the well known musical 'Sweet Charity'. Her dedicated training has equipped her with Teaching qualifications in ISTD Modern and Tap, together with Anatomy and Physiology.  She has recently completed the national tour of the musical 'The Full Monty' as assistant choreographer.  She is currently working on her advanced teaching qualifications towards becoming a Fellow and Examiner of the ISTD.

 

Miss Amanda Pilbeam

AISTD Ballet and Modern

Amanda trained at the world renowned Royal Ballet School and at Hilton Hall Performing Arts. She is a fully qualified teacher in ISTD Ballet and Modern and is a very experienced professional performer having recently completed the UK Tour of 'The Spirit of Christmas' and previously the 'Spirit of Broadway' in Israel. She has worked with the English National Youth Ballet on various productions which included favourites such as 'The Nutcracker', together with performances with the Dutch National Ballet including 'Romeo and Juliet'.  She also holds an Advanced Award of the highly coveted Checceti Ballet bringing a wealth of teaching and choreography experience to the Academy.

 

Mr Marcos White

 

Marcos loves giving the knowledge he has obtained over the years to the next generation of talent. The sooner the knowledge is passed down, the sooner more time can be denoted to creativity, innovation and evolution within the industry.  Marcos had worked with such artists as Geri Halliwell, Mariah Carey, Pink, Kylie Minogue, Peter Andre, Emma Bunton, Ronan Keating, Billie Piper and S Club. Recently, Marcos has undertaken selected choreographic work with Kylie Minogue as director of his former company Tricks of the Trade Limited. He has more recently been choreographing trade and fashion shows, dance and pop music for Pas, TV and Video.
